Irish Mint Brownies In honor of St. Patrick's Day tomorrow! Mint Brownie Recipe Brownie: 1 c. butter 4 eggs 2 c. sugar 4 oz. unsweetened chocolate squares 2 tsp. vanilla 1 c. flour Combine ingredients and bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Frosting: 2 c. powdered sugar 1 T. milk 4 T. butter 1/2 t. peppermint 3 drops green food coloring (optional) Spread on cooled brownies. Topping: 4 T. butter 1 (12 oz.) bag of milk chocolate chips Melt & stir until smooth; spread on brownies. **This recipe is extremely rich! I like a hint of mint and more chocolate topping. I would recommend trying chocolate frosting for the topping instead of the melted chocolate chips. This gives the recipe a thick layer of chocolate on top and a more intense chocolate flavor. bon appétit

I can honestly say old fashioned pumpkin pie has grown on me. Famous Pumpkin Pie INGREDIENTS 3/4 cup granulated sugar 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves 2 large eggs 1 can (15 oz.) pure pumpkin 1 can (12 fl. oz.) evaporated milk 1 unbaked 9-inch (4-cup volume) deep-dish pie shell Whipped cream (optional) DIRECTIONS MIX sugar, cinnamon, salt, ginger and cloves in small bowl.
