Irish Mint Brownies
Mint Brownie Recipe
Brownie:
1 c. butter
4 eggs
2 c. sugar
4 oz. unsweetened chocolate squares
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. flour
Combine ingredients and bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.
Frosting:
2 c. powdered sugar
1 T. milk
4 T. butter
1/2 t. peppermint
3 drops green food coloring (optional)
Spread on cooled brownies.
Topping:
4 T. butter
1 (12 oz.) bag of milk chocolate chips
Melt & stir until smooth; spread on brownies.
**This recipe is extremely rich! I like a hint of mint and more chocolate topping. I would recommend trying chocolate frosting for the topping instead of the melted chocolate chips. This gives the recipe a thick layer of chocolate on top and a more intense chocolate flavor.
